2022 TAPA Planning Awards
Four awards will be given out at the 2022 Fall Conference for plans across the state
We are pleased to invite nominations for the 2022 TAPA Planning Awards, to be presented at the Annual Conference in Knoxville on October 26-28, 2022. This is a celebrated opportunity to showcase distinguished individuals and successful planning projects from all over the state.
Award categories are for Outstanding Plan (large and small jurisdiction), Outstanding Project/Program/Tool (large and small jurisdiction), Outstanding Plan Implementation, and Outstanding Student Project. Any planning agency, team or firm, community group, or local authority helping Tennessee civic leaders and citizens play a meaningful role in creating communities that enrich people's lives may submit a nomination.
Complete submittals must be received no later than 5:00 pm, Friday, August 5, 2022. We are not accepting submittals at this time. For questions or assistance, contact Nathalie Schmidt, AICP, on behalf of the 2022 TAPA Awards Committee, at nschmidt@oakridgetn.gov.
The 2022 Awards Selection Committee is made up of one member from each TAPA section, one or two at-large chapter members, and one member from the Tennessee Planning Leadership Council. Award winners will be notified in early September and invited to participate in the awards presentation and reception at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Wednesday evening, October 26, 2022.
