As the Discretionary Grants and LPA Program Coordinator with the FHWA Tennessee Division, you’ll work carrying out stewardship and oversight of Tennessee’s Federal discretionary grant programs and the LPA program. You will provide outreach, training, and technical assistance to the Tennessee DOT, Tennessee’s Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs), LPAs, tribes, and other stakeholders in understanding grant opportunities, and guide in the identification and development of activities supporting effective and compliant delivery of Federal-aid projects by local agencies. You will work with a multidisciplinary team across the Tennessee Division to provide technical assistance and support in resolving program and project-specific issues.

 

This position is based out of Nashville, Tennessee, a place known as the country music capital of the world.  While music put Nashville on the map, it's not our only claim to fame.
