Great Places in Tennessee TAPA Announces new Award for 2022
TAPA is announcing the Tennessee Chapter Great Places Award for Tennessee. This award celebrates neighborhoods, districts, streets, and public spaces that required good planning to become the places they are today. The Tennessee Chapter is accepting awards until July 15th, 2022.
One of the many programs TAPA has worked on over the years is the Plan4Health program with the Tennessee Department of Health and the Nashville Civic Design Center. Learn more about it here.
Picture Perfect Planning in Tennessee
Each year, the American Planning Association names Great Neighborhoods, Great Public Spaces, and Great Streets from all across America. Several Tennessee communities have been recognized as Great Places, such as Cooper-Young Neighborhood in Memphis.
