Conferences and Meetings
General Conference Information Conference Overview
Every year, TAPA hosts two large events: a Fall Conference and a Spring Retreat. Typically, the Fall Conference is a three day affair held in September or October. It moves around between the State's five different sections with each holding it once every five years. This event usually has multiple break-out sessions occurring at one time, as well as some large sessions with all members. It attracts more planners than the Spring Retreat and usually includes tours in the community hosting the event. The Spring Retreat, typically held in March or April, is a smaller event that is usually a full day on Thursday and a half day on Friday. Often times the Spring Retreat is held at either Montgomery Bell State Park 45 minutes west of Nashville or Fall Creek Falls State Park two hours east. However, it has recently been held in other places as well such as Gatlinburg in 2020.
